Occasionally the front entry door lock may stick due to the door slamming shut and will not allow the key to turn in the lock.  To open a stuck entry door, pull the lever handle towards you while turning the key at the same time, you may have to pull hard on the handle.  Pulling toward you will compress the door seal allowing the door latch to slide out of the jamb latch plate.  It is sometimes necessary to also push in on the handle side of the door at the bottom with your foot while pulling toward you with the handle.  if you can't get into your apartment, please call the RA on duty for assistance.
