Only use dishwasher detergent in your dishwasher. Never use dish soap such as Dawn, etc. or hand washing soap. These types of soaps will cause the dishwasher to overfill with suds and cause the door to leak, if this happens, run one or two rinse only cycles to clear the excess suds.
